Bollywood star Alia Bhatt is off to Kargil in Ladakh, to resume the next schedule of her upcoming drama ‘Kalank’.

Taking to Instagram, the star posted a picture of herself with her team en route to board their flight.”Kargil Calling,” She captioned the image.

Alia will be joined by co-star Varun Dhawan in the Valley, where they will reportedly shoot a song for the film directed by Abhishek Varman.

The forthcoming film, which was actually conceptualised by Johar’s late father, Yash, nearly 15 years ago, will feature an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Madhuri Dixit-Nene.

Shooting began almost two months ago for the flick that is slated to hit theatres on April 19, 2019.

While most stars would spend hours at the gym getting in shape for their films, Aditya Roy Kapur underwent a body transformation of a different kind for Karan Johar’s ‘Kalank’.
