It’s already known that the emerging superstar of Tamil cinema Vijay Sethupathi is essaying a pivotal role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. After wrapping up his portions in Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’, the 40-year-old versatile actor has joined the sets of Sye Raa in Georgia. Parineeti Chopra’s reacts to Sidharth Malhotra walking out of Jabariya Jodi

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra are currently shooting together in Lucknow for Ekta Kapoor’s Jabariya Jodi. The rom-com, set in Bihar, has a rustic flavour and revolves around the problem of groom kidnapping, albeit with humour. The film is being directed by debutant Prashant Singh. But today, a leading daily reported that Sidharth Malhotra has walked out of the project. That was really shocking for the leading lady of Jabariya Jodi. Parineeti responded to this rumour in a hilarious way on Twitter. She wrote, “Oh no so then who is this boy posing as Sidharth on my set? I was just about to shoot a romantic scene with him!!@sidmalhotra @ektaravikapoor Is this a K serial twist I didn’t know about?”

Sidharth replied to this saying, “Kahani Kast Ki!! twist” Producer Ekta Kapoor replied to their tweets. She wrote, “Face change babes!! Junglee 2019 Actor Vidyut Jammwal

Junglee Pictures’ upcoming film ‘Junglee‘ starring Vidyut Jammwal, directed by Hollywood filmmaker Chuck Russell that was earlier scheduled to release on Dussehra, October 19 will now release on April 5, 2019. The film will be produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Priti Shahani.

The makers will now be releasing their other film ‘Badhaai Ho’ on Dussehra. Directed by Amit Sharma, ‘Badhaai Ho’, produced by Junglee Pictures and Chrome Pictures, stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra.

Junglee‘ is a family-adventure film about a unique relationship between man and elephants. Vidyut essays the role of a vet, who, on his homecoming to his elephant reserve, encounters and fights an international poachers racket.

An elephant has not featured prominently in a Hindi film since Haathi Mere Saathi (1971). The upcoming Junglee (2019), starring Vidyut Jammwal, brings the issue of poaching in the jungle into focus. Chuck Russell, the man behind The Mask (1994) and The Scorpion King (2002), is directing his first film in India.

The first teaser of the family film is narrated by a young boy who promises a grand adventure in the junglee, thanks to a family of elephants and their friend, played by Jammwal. The action star is said to play a veterinarian who fights of gang of poachers targeting his elephant friends. Junglee has a majestic, pleasing score by Sameer Uddin corresponding to the scenic greenery and relative peace of the harmony between man and elephants.

The joyous mood of the teaser shifts when a man ominously announces that the jungle is not what it was before, revealing a Ganesh idol in the jungle. Jammwal then fights off a few men with weapons, likely poachers or those looking to profit off the riches of the jungle.

Junglee, produced by Vineet Jain, is due to be released on 5 April 2019.

According to a report by DNA, the once-Mumbaikar revealed that he has been researching about the Third Battle of Panipat (the premise around which Gowariker’s film is set) for over five years now.

On collaborating with the Lagaan filmmaker, Shelatkar said that he has been an appreciator of the director’s past films and that both of them shared a keen interest in the Panipat battle. It is reported that while Arjun and Kriti were Gowariker’s choice, the name of Sanjay Dutt was suggested by Shelatkar — a casting that both the director and the producer consider “brilliant”, adds the DNA report.

While previously there have been films around Maratha warriors like Chhatrapati Shivaji or Sambhaji, Gowariker’s Panipat details the life and sacrifice of Sadashiv Rao Bhau. Speaking about the film and its storyline, Shelatkar says, “We’ve never heard of a story of such bravery and magnitude where one army with limited resources travelled a thousand miles to help another in their war with the invaders. The Marathas had no personal motive for fighting alongside the Moghuls against the invading Afghan army led by Ahmad Shah Abdali…But despite Abdali’s victory, he lost a lot more and Afghans never invaded India after this battle. Yes, Bhau sacrificed his life, but there are many reasons that will change the view of not just Maharashtrians, but Indians all over.”

Ajay-Atul, the talented music composer duo has been roped in to score the music for Panipat. A colossal set of Shanivar Wada (of Pune) will be erected in Mumbai by art director Nitin Desai. Panipat: The Great Betrayal is slated to release on 6 December, 2019.

Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming film Badla finally has a release date. The Sujoy Ghosh-directed film will hit the screens on March 8, 2019. Director of Badla and Taapsee shared the release date of the film on their respective Twitter handles. “This will kickstart my 2019,” wrote Taapsee Pannu while Director Sujoy Ghosh’s post read, “Badlareleases March 8, 2019. Do come. It’ll be a lot of fun.” The film went on floors last month and has been shot extensively in London and Scotland. Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment has co-produced Mr Ghosh’s upcoming film, which is a crime thriller. The makers have not yet revealed anything about the film’s plot.

Badla is Amitabh Bachchan’s second collaboration with actress Taapsee Pannu. The actors have worked together in 2016’s PINK. Taapsee, who is excited to share the screen with her PINK co-actor yet again told news agency IANS: “When you are in safe hands of a brilliant filmmaker and an ace co-actor there is nothing to fear.”

Taapsee in an interview IANS had revealed that her upcoming film Badla will be a thriller and that she is going to explore a “new side” of herself with this character. “This is going to be a riveting thriller. It’s Sujoy’s favourite genre and I am yet another time out of my comfort zone which I actually enjoy the most,” IANS quoted Taapsee as saying.

Amitabh Bachchan was in Glasgow last month shooting for Badla where he revealed how the film was a saviour. “Confined. Conscious and content. Until, the film releases. This is the life of creativity. Badla moves each day. Finally away from and distant from prosthetics and heavy costume armour,” the actor tweeted. Before Badla, Amitabh Bachchan was working on Brahmastra for which he had to undergo prosthetic make-up trials.
