Introduction:1

 

A businessman whom I admire truly is Jeffrey Bezos. He is popularly known as Jeff

Bezos across the world. He is the founder and the owner of Amazon and lives in the

United States of America. Jeff is a computer engineer and has taken Amazon to a

new height since its inception.

I know about him because he is a global figure. All of us have shopped from Amazon

at some point of time in our lives. I was once watching a review on TV about the ten

richest persons of the world and Jeff was among the first five. He looks handsome

and cheerful in all his pictures and I have also heard some of his speeches and read

his articles.

The company Amazon was established in 1994 by Bezos. It began as an online

bookstore and after that it expanded to a wide variety of other e-commerce

products. Today, Amazon is the world’s largest online sales company and each and

every person knows about this company.

I admire this businessman because of his journey of mind-blowing success.

Although, he belonged to a middle class family he could convert his visions into

actions and that is what brought him so far. I also like him because he is noble and

a philanthropist. Bezos is a promising and progressive industrialist and recently flew

to space with his brother.

Well, there are many successful businessmen, and I often read the biographies and watch biopics of such icons.

Who this person is? and How do you know this person?
I recently read an article about a famous south Indian businessman, Ramesh babu, and now he’s the one I admire the most. Actually, he had a very humble start. He lost his parents at an early age and couldn’t go to school.

What kind of business this person does?
For survival, he started giving haircuts to people at 2 rupees only. From an early age, he was quite intelligent and witty, so after saving money from this small venture, he purchased his first second-hand car and started a car rental business.

Along with his new business, he continued to give haircuts. Slowly and steadily, his business grew, and today he is a billionaire.

He has hundreds of cars in his fleet, including expensive cars like Maserati and Rolls-Royce, and it is hard to believe that he still gives a haircut for two rupees at his salon, which shows how humble he is.

Although he lives life king-size, he also donates a lot of money to help people in need. He has helped many people to set up their small businesses to earn their livelihood.

Why do you admire this person?
I admire this person because he contributes greatly to society, and he is a true legend. Now I regularly follow him on social media, especially Twitter, where he shares his innovative ideas and motivate youngsters to have their startups.

I wish I, too become a successful businessman like Mr Ramesh babu.

• But here, I would like to talk about Mukesh Ambani.
• He is in his late fifties and looks very handsome.

What kind of business this person does?

• He has a degree in Chemical Engineering.
• He joined his father in Reliance Industries in 1981, at the age of 24.
• He has a great vision, and ever since he joined his company, he took it to new heights.
• He set up India’s first private oil refinery at Jamnagar Gujarat.
• This refinery can produce 33 million tonnes of oil per year.
• He made it possible for India to compete at the global level.
• He also owns the domestic cricket club of IPL known as the Mumbai Indians.
• In 2012, he was ranked the richest man in India and the second richest in Asia.
• He is the 19th richest man in the world.
• He has a net worth of 21 billion dollars.
• He lives in Mumbai.
• His house has 27 stories and is worth 1 billion dollars.
• He lives there with his wife, Nita Ambani, three children, and a staff of 600 people.

Why do you admire this person?

•  He believes that businesses should constantly innovate; otherwise, they will stagnate and wither away.
• He believes that the main purpose of businesses is to create jobs and wealth.
• And, he has successfully done so by his various industries.
• His achievements have made him known not only in India but across the globe.
• In 2013, he was conferred ‘Entrepreneur of the Decade’ by the All India Management Association.

Conclusion:

• So, I think Mukesh Ambani is a very successful businessman of India mainly because of the way he managed his assets in the petroleum industry.

Today I’m going to tell you about a businessman that I really admire and respect. I live in a beautiful and peaceful street and most of my neighbors are working for companies or running their own enterprises. Among them, I would pick Mr. Vincent as the most admirable businessman I have ever met. 

Mr. Vincent is 30 years old and he established his first company when he was only 26. His company trades medical equipment, and it’s name is Viet Sun. He has acquired a reputation as a profound and dedicated person to his work, I usually find him leaving for work early and getting home late. Even on weekends, instead of hanging out with friends, he is still glued to his computer screen.

Despite being older than me by nearly 10 years but he looks really young and is always full of energy. Few people have the great passion and relevant skills to pursue to their goals. Mr. Vincent is one of those who could achieve his dream by himself at the age of 26, and this is what I find most appealing about him. 

Another of his lovely traits is definitely his wise advice. Therefore, whenever I feel discouraged, I will seek his advice. I have learnt many useful things from him, not only in everyday things, but also in attitudes to life

To me, he is not just a normal businessman, but a person whom I can share things with and learn many things from. I really owe a lot of gratitude to him

Businessmen are the backbone of any country and they not only play a big role in the economy but also provide job opportunities to young ones. There are so many famous businessmen like steve jobs, bill gates, ratan tata, Mukesh Ambani and many more. But here I would like to talk about a business person and entrepreneur Elon Musk. He is the founder of SpaceX company which makes rockets and spacecraft. I read his biography on the Internet. He is also the CEO of tesla company which makes electric cars. Due to his hard work and dedication towards his work, he became the world richest person. He started learning programming and coding from his childhood. He had a dream of making space travel possible for common people. For this, he went to many renowned companies to make spacecraft rockets, but they demanded huge amounts of money, which were not possible for him. But he didn’t lose hope. He made the engineering team and within years he made his own SpaceX company. And last year, he successfully launched his first space travel rocket. His endless efforts admire me. Despite all his achievements, he is still very humble.

I often like to read the life stories of successful business persons in the world because they teach us many things. Their lives and professions are also inspiring for people. Today, I’d like to talk about one such person who is not only a successful business person but also a very renowned personality in my town. He is none other than my neighbour.

Since he is from the same town where I spent my childhood and teenage time, I have heard a lot about him. A couple of times, I have seen him in different seminars and programmes. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to talk to him in person. But, if I ever get a chance to spend some time with him, I would ask him about his success stories as a business person.

He is the eldest son of a successful local businessman and inherited his father’s electronic industry division many years ago. That was just the beginning, and over time, he has worked really hard and built his empire in the local business market. In a few years, he took some giant leaps to expand it beyond his town. And lately, he has been awarded as one of the best business entrepreneurs in the country.

From the local electronic business he had inherited from his father, he gradually and successfully amassed fortune and business success and thus has become one of the enviable businessmen in the country. His companies now produce cosmetics, shoes, papers, clothing items, medicines and of course different electrical and electronic items.

Taking great decisions and gradually enhancing the business was his success mantra. Everyone in our locality agrees that he was an honest, hardworking and wise person who knew when to take risks and when not to. His timely decision, investment in promising sectors and hard work have rewarded him well. His companies currently employ millions of people, and this is also a big success as a businessman.

No, I have never thought about it. I do get some wild ideas sometimes of

opening a restaurant and undertaking some start up but I have never

thought about it seriously. I am not even very sure if I want to do a business

or not.

Waking up early, having a disciplined life, exercising, reading and travelling

are some habits that make industrialists successful. Every successful

businessperson has a story to tell and there are a lot of struggles they

undergo. I think an attitude of never say die and the habit of perseverance

is what keeps them going.

4. In your opinion what are some of the social responsibilities of business

personnel?

They have a lot of responsibilities towards the society because it is due to

the people that they have become successful. To serve the needy and poor

and to help some people with education are some social responsibilities of

business people. Apart from this they can do a lot other things based on the

needs and the situation of the society.

5. Have you even been inspired by any entrepreneur? How?

Yes, I have been. Ratan Tata and Mukesh Ambani are some people who

really inspire me due to their deeds towards the society. Even persons like

Bill and Melinda Gates have given lot of donations for the society.
