The city which I would like to live in the future is in Canada and it is called Toronto.

Toronto, is the capital of the province of Ontario in Canada and it is a major Canadian

city. It is located along the Ontario lake on the northwestern region. This is the city

where I wish to live in the future for my study/life.

I know about Toronto because of many reasons. First of all, it is a well-known city

and many people know about it. A lot of my friends and relatives live there already

and so I have heard about it many times. I have also heard about it on TV and read

about it in the magazines.

It is famous for many reasons. I have never been there but I have seen in pictures

and have heard that the infrastructure of the city is ultramodern and wonderful. The

city soars with lots of iconic skyscrapers. The city is also popular for the CN tower,

its greenery, sports facilities, parks and the zoo.

I think that it is a great city to live for, for many reasons. Interestingly, Toronto has

been ranked the fourth most livable city in the world. The healthcare, environment,

culture and education of the city is great. It is the best place for food lovers and I am

one of them. It is also a city of arts, culture and excitement and there is always

something for everyone in Toronto.

Well, just like everyone else I too wish to build my dream house in my dream city.

Where is it? and How you know about this city?
And it would be the city “Dehradun” the capital of Uttarakhand. I have visited this place few times while traveling to mountains as this city is situated in the foothills of Himalayas. I would love to move to this city for good for loads of reasons.

Why you would like to live there?
Firstly, after study I would like to work in a multinational company and there are many international companies where I can easily find a job with handsome salary. In addition, I just love the weather of this place since it is pretty close to the mountain the weather remains pleasant throughout , the year especially in summers.

Actually, love traveling to mountains so while living here I can easily plan weekend trips to Mussorie the queen of hills and other place near by with my family and friends which would more like a stress buster for me. Dehradun is actually a very modern and a well-planned city. It offers all sorts of facilities to its dwellers from educational institutes to shopping malls.

What it is famous for?
There are hundreds of parks that make this city clean and green. That’s why, it is amongest the cleanest cities of the country. Yet another feature of this city is the Doon Valley School which is famous worldwide for its quality education and I would like to enrol my kids in this school to secure their future.

Conclusion:
I would like to build small house in a very peaceful locality in this city where I would like to live with my family in harmony. Since, Dehradun is the place that offers everything I dream of that’s why it is the city where I would like to live in future.

Well, I’m a travel freak I have explored a lot of places which are incredible like Shimla, Manali, Kerala, Jaipur and so on.

Where is it?
But here I would love to talk about a special city which is a dream for numerous. The name of the city is Brampton which is in Canada.

How you know about this city?
Actually, I got to know about this city from One of my friends who is living there since 2008. When he came back to India for the first time I was really curious to know about his lifestyle. Then he told all about Brampton starting from the weather to the abundance of opportunities that this city provides.

What it is famous for?
Honestly, I was really blown when I got to know that the region is so cold in winters that water freezes instantly when exposed to air. Moreover, there are a lot of multinational companies where people can work and earn a hefty amount. Not only this, people who are not very much educated but have some skills like tuckers, welders, Plumbers are also valued over here and can live a luxurious life. Most importantly, he informed me that the overall authorities of Canada are amazing due to which work goes on really smooth.

Why you would like to live there?
Apart from this, the city is famous for its Outstanding design. As mostly the houses over there are Constructed with the help of wood which really excites me. It was my dream since childhood to live in a Cozy house that includes a small indoor born fire. Nowadays, more than 40% population of this city is from Punjab due to which the Second prefered language here is Punjabi.

Conclusion:
Almost all my friends are living there which is also one reason that why I want to migrate to this city.

• I love many things about Phagwara but there are certain reasons why I would like to move out in the future.

• The city that I dream about living in the future is Chandigarh.
• It is the combined capital of Punjab and Haryana.
• Many of my relatives live there and so I know a lot about it.
• In fact, I used to visit Chandigarh a lot in my childhood to spend time with my cousins.
• Chandigarh is a modern city. It was built after independence by a French architect Le Corbusier.

What it is famous for? and Why you would like to live there?

• It is famous for many reasons.
• First, like I said before it is the capital of Punjab.
• Secondly, it is known for its well-planned layout.
• It’s one of the few cities in India, where residential and commercial areas are completely segregated.
• That’s also one of the main reasons why I want to live there.
• The separation offers a lot of benefits, but mainly it offers respite from the loud noise, which people suffer from in other big cities.
• Chandigarh also doesn’t have many industries, so there is comparatively less pollution than other major cities in India.
• Another thing I like about Chandigarh is the entertainment facilities.
• There are a lot of big malls, cinema theatres, and discos in Chandigarh.
• There is a lot to do and people can never get bored in Chandigarh.
• Finally, the last reason why I want to settle there is that it is very close to hill stations like Shimla and Solan.

Conclusion:

• I love the mountains and doing activities like trekking, rock climbing and ice-skating.
• So, on the weekends, I would be able to go on short trips and enjoy the mountains as well.

• Toronto city is famous for its skyscrapers, crowded streets and a popular waterfront skyline.
• Apart from this, another thing which makes it popular is its cosmopolitan environment.

Why you would like to be there?

• The prominent reason for settling down in Toronto is its climate.
• Since my childhood, I love the cold climate.
• And there is no denying that the temperature in Toronto remains cold for most of the year.
• The second reason for shifting to Toronto for me is the earning potential in this city.
• My skill set is in huge demand in this city.
• That’s why finding a plum job would be an easy task for me.
• Moreover, the salary package offered over here is better as compared to other big cities.
• Lastly, I love the layout and cultural environment of this city.
• Being an extrovert person, I love to interact with people from different cultures.
• Due to all these reasons, I have planned to settle in Toronto for greener pastures.

Being a voracious traveller, I have travelled to various cities. Most of these cities are worthwhile for travelling purposes. However, there is one city that has caught my attention. And I would like to spend the balance of my life over there.

Where is it?

The city name is Thimpu. It is the capital of Bhutan.

How do you know about this city?

Last year I got the opportunity to visit this city on a study tour.

What it is famous for?

This city is famous for its clean and pristine environment. The central focus of the higher authorities of this city is to reduce the carbon footprint. Due to this initiative, it is a city with a lower level of air pollution. Because of this reason, a large no of people visit this place to relax under the arms of nature,

Why you would like to be there?

Being a nature-loving person, I would spend the rest of my life in the natural surroundings of Thimpu city. Instead of a brick and mortar house, I will stay in a wooden accommodation amidst the lush green surroundings.

Apart from this, I will engage in wildlife photography. The forest area in Bhutan is massive. I will make full use of it and click photographs of various wild animals.

Moreover, I will learn about Bhutanese culture and cuisine. As there is no denying this conviction that the best way to get knowledge of a nation is to interact with the native population, therefore I will spend a sizeable portion of my stay in Thimpu, in the company of the locals.

Well, India is a diverse country due to its geographical regions. I belong to Moga city which is in Punjab state. I have been living there since my childhood and I like this place because lots of memories are attached to this place. But I want to live in another city named Amritsar. Amritsar is famous for the Golden temple and also different religious places. Amritsar is one of those places which offer the perfect combination of food, traditions, history and culture. This city is rich in culture and history. First time I visited there in my childhood. From that time, We usually go there to spend weekends because I like the peaceful environment of the Sikh temple, as well as the availability of all kind of stuff, attracts me like jewellery, clothes, footwear, and traditional items. I like to live there because in big cities people do not face any kind of difficulty rrding education, medical and for travelling purposes. People mostly have big houses and also apartments. In Amritsar, people have various job opportunities. Moreover, individuals can entertain themselves by doing recreational activities and also visiting several places. Every kind of cuisine is also available. The most interesting thing is that most of the foreigners come to visit the renowned places that are related to history. In future, I will definitely buy my own house in Amritsar city due to a lot of reasons. So this is the place where I would like to live in.

 

 

Sample 2 Dehradun Right now, I am living in Moga and for me, there is no better place to live other than my birthplace because I have a lot of memories attached to this place. Although my city has all the facilities but there is a city where I wish to live in the future and that is Dehradun. Dehradun is the capital of the Indian state Uttarakhand, near the Himalayan foothills. I came to know about this place from our school trip. Dehradun is a gateway to some of the most popular hill stations in the country like Nainital and Mussoorie. Dehradun is a valley that lies between the Himalayas and the Shivaliks Mountains. The city was also mentioned in the two great epics Ramayana and  Mahabharata.   Besides, Dehradun is also called the ‘school capital of India’ for the number of schools there. The whole year tourist visit there from all over the world to glimpse the beauty of the mountains All kind of basic to advance facilities are available there. It is known for its calm and relaxing life where the weather is pleasant and the air is fresh. The snowfall of the winter season is the most fascinating scene of Dehradun which attracts me a lot. In future, I want to live in the lap of this valley. So this is the city where I want to live in future.

I originally from India and currently I live in a countryside area. My hometown is ……..I have been living there since my birth. I want to migrate to the renowned city Chandigarh in the future because of the popularity and number of amenities available in the developed cities.

I know about this city from one of my close friends. she lives there for many years. Also, I gained a lot of information about this city from the internet about this city then I come to know that this clean and green city.

This city is well-known for various things. Firstly, Chandigarh has emerged as the cleanest city in India and it tops Indian states and union territories with the highest per capita income.

 secondly, famous for its greenery, civilized people, and soothing atmosphere. Unlike other cities, there is less traffic on roads as the Chandigarh police are very strict about rules, and there is very little pollution. Chandigarh is a tri-city comprising of Panchkula, Mohali, and Chandigarh.

Thirdly, The city is also not very populated. Punjabi food is very famous in Chandigarh. It’s well known worldwide that Punjabis are very fond of eating.

Furthermore, there are many places in Chandigarh that add to the beauty of the city. The very famous rock garden made by Nek Chand is the most creative place to visit and see. Nek Chand Ji has turned waste materials into the most beautiful, most amazing art. Sukhna Lake is another famous attraction for many people. Boating in the middle of the lake makes you feel so soothing.

One of the main reasons  why I want to live in Chandigarh, there are a lot of job opportunities where I can get the opportunity to work in a multinational company. In this high-paced life, everyone wants to live in a safe and harmonious place for peace of mind that’s why I also want to live in this appealing place.

1. What are some things about your city that you really like and appreciate?

There are a bunch of things about my city that I like and appreciate. I have

been living here since a long time/since my birth and so I am attached and

acquainted with a lot many places in my city. I specially love the gardens and

super markets of my city. The food eateries and the restaurants are also too

good. People of my city are cordial and welcoming.

 

 

 

2. What things about cities make them attractive and livable according to

you?

A city which is less populated and has welcoming people in it is a nice place

to live. Food and other facilities should be easily available and affordable.

There should be places for sight-seeing and picnics. Most important the city

should be well connected with road, rail and air.

 

 

 

3. Do people prefer to live in villages or cities? Why?

I prefer to live in a city for the most of the time but on weekends and on

holidays I would like to spend some time in the villages. Both the places are

different and have their own merits and demerits. The city is facilitated

whereas the village is pollution free. I am afraid that the quality of life in

villages should not be affected due to industrialization.

 

 

 

4. Would you shift from a city of your choice for professional growth or

continue to stay where you like?

Well, I am not really sure what I would do if such a situation arises. However,

I guess I would choose the option of moving on for greener pastures. I can

always come back and spend some time in the city where I like to reside.

Change is the law of nature and we should all embrace it.

 

 

 

5. What are some facilities that, on being added to cities to make them metro

cities?

I think a lot of facilities and scopes for economic growth would characterize

a city as a metro city. A city which would be very well connected with rail,

road ad air and the one which would be densely populated. Great

infrastructure and high-tech life makes a city a metropolitan city.
